The Chinese Culture and Education Center is always looking for wonderful host families for our Chinese students. Home stays provide immense value to our students and give hosts an opportunity to really make a difference in someone's life. You will share stories, help them to understand American culture, and truly give them an experience that they will never forget!
Below you will find a variety of different programs to choose from. Hosts will be responsible for housing students and taking them to and from school. CCEC regularly awards stipends to host families.The size of the stipend depends on the selected program. We look forward to making you a part of our family and can't wait to introduce you to one of our bright Chinese students!

Summer Hosting
Summer hosting is in August and is for two weeks. You will be responsibility for hosting the child in your home and taking them to and from school.
Winter Hosting
Like the summer program, the winter program is only two weeks long and you are responsible for hosting the child in your home and taking them to and from school. The date varies from January and February because it works around the Chinese New Year which is different every year.
Year Long Hosting
Become a dedicated host family by getting involved in our year-long program! This will be during the normal school year and you will be responsible for hosting the student in your home and taking them to and from school. Don't worry, we'll provide regular activities, outings, and group events to help acclimate students to an extended stay in the United States.
Partial Semester Hosting
Our partial semester hosting program lasts either from September to December or from February through May. It's great for the students who want to stay longer than two weeks but not to remain for an entire school year. You will be responsible for hosting the student in your home and taking them to and from school. We will provide various activities and trips for the student as well!
